    rien sur vous ni sur votre matériel) et l'identifiant qui en découle ;
%APPDATA%\IGNEA\agent\state.json.

jeu lit puis efface.

  agent.json puis relancez l'agent.

What it is for
IGNEA Agent is a small Windows program that binds your IGNEA license to this PC. It activates
the key you bought (IGNEA-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX), then renews the permission to play
automatically (about every 15 minutes) while it is open.
Without it, IGNEA Studio stays in DEMO MODE (fictitious values, nothing is applied).

Why it is needed
A BeamNG mod cannot keep a secret: everything in it can be read and copied. So the agent
creates, with Windows, a key that belongs to this PC and cannot be exported (in the PC's TPM
security chip when available, otherwise in the Windows secure storage). The IGNEA server binds
your license to that key: the license works on one PC at a time. No protection is unbreakable,
but this one stops simple sharing of a key or a file.
The agent never replaces or deletes an existing device key by itself: if the key does not
answer (TPM chip not ready yet when Windows starts, for example), it retries automatically and
IGNEA Studio shows "device key unusable" meanwhile.

Getting started
  1. From IGNEA Studio (in the game), install the agent: the game copies this folder to your
BeamNG user folder (IGNEA_Agent) and opens it.
  2. Double-click "Lancer-IGNEA-Agent.cmd" ONCE. Wait for "IGNEA Agent is ready".
The very first time, creating the device key can take a few seconds.
The agent then runs in the background, without a window, and starts again by itself, still
without a window, each time you sign in to Windows: there is nothing left to start before
     you play.
  3. In IGNEA Studio, type your license key and click "Activate IGNEA".
An Internet connection is needed to activate and to renew the permission.

Stopping the agent, automatic start
"Arreter-IGNEA-Agent.cmd" stops the agent; IGNEA goes back to demo mode shortly after.
It starts again at your next Windows sign-in while the automatic start is on.
"Demarrage-automatique.cmd": choice 1 enables it, choice 2 removes it. Only one "IGNEA-Agent"
entry is added to or removed from the start-up list of YOUR Windows account (no administrator
rights; visible in Task Manager, "Startup apps" tab, Windows PowerShell).
If you move this folder, run "Lancer-IGNEA-Agent.cmd" again.
To see the agent's messages: stop it, then run "Lancer-IGNEA-Agent.cmd fenetre" from a command
  prompt (or read %APPDATA%\IGNEA\agent\agent.log).

Privacy — what is sent to the IGNEA server
  - the PUBLIC part of the device key (a random key made for IGNEA; it says nothing about you or
    your hardware) and the identifier derived from it;
  - your license identifier, and your license key at activation only.
Nothing else: no name, no address, no hardware serial number, no files.
On this PC the license key is kept encrypted by Windows (your account) in
%APPDATA%\IGNEA\agent\state.json. The log (%APPDATA%\IGNEA\agent\agent.log) never contains the
  license key.

Local security
The game and the agent exchange files in <BeamNG user folder>\settings\ignea\agent\ (the game's
browser cannot reach any local program): the game drops a request there, the agent reads it,
deletes it at once (it may hold your license key) and drops its answer, which the game reads and
then deletes. At every start the agent writes a random token to
<BeamNG user folder>\settings\ignea\agent.json; only the game reads it and every request must
present it. These files are deleted when the agent stops.
The agent also listens on this PC only (127.0.0.1, port 51736) for tests and diagnosis, with the
same token; it refuses any request addressed under another name than 127.0.0.1 or localhost, or
coming from a web page of another site.
Limit: a program already running under your Windows account can read these files, like the game.

Moving to another PC
  1. On the old PC: in IGNEA Studio, release the license (the agent must be running and online).
The license is detached from this PC and forgotten.
  2. On the new PC: install IGNEA and the agent, then activate the same key.
Limit: 2 releases per 30-day period. Old PC lost, broken or reinstalled (Windows reinstalled =
new device key): contact support to detach the license.
Forgetting the license only erases the key on this PC without telling the server: the license
  stays bound to this PC.

Settings: agent.json (in this folder)
serverUrl address of the IGNEA license server
port local port (51736; tests and diagnosis only, the game uses the files)
keyName device key name (do not change)
provider auto (TPM when possible, else software), tpm or software
beamngUserDir BeamNG user folder, if the agent does not find it by itself
stateDir state folder (%APPDATA%\IGNEA\agent by default)
lang message language: auto (Windows language), fr or en

If Windows blocks the script
  Right-click IgneaAgent.ps1 > Properties > tick "Unblock" > OK.

If the agent says the port is in use
"IGNEA Agent is already running": an agent already runs (in the background), the new window
  can be closed.
"used by another program": close that program, or choose another "port" in agent.json and
  start the agent again.
